During his life he has changed an enormous number of professions. His study is piled with books, various mechanisms and objects relating to nearly twenty different fields of activity. Like most Fives, he achieved success in trade, but even a successful career did not quench his thirst for new experience. To this day he changes professions and masters new ways of making money. And finally, a third variant of the Five of Spades, this time a woman. She has two homes and two jobs, separated by a distance of 500 kilometres. She has arranged her life so as to move from place to place roughly once every two weeks. Her work comes down mainly to organising concerts and art exhibitions (fields of activity connected with the Karma Card — the Ten of Hearts). One fine day she met a man and began a love relationship with him. They began to live together, although our Five of Spades regularly left home and was away for two weeks. Once, while she was away, her partner met another woman, who turned out to be homeless. He invited her to live in the flat next door. When the Five of Spades returned, she found her boyfriend at breakfast with his new friend. All this was very suspicious. But the Five of Spades behaved in this situation quite unexpectedly for all her friends: she decided to tolerate the presence of the other woman. As a result this woman lived in the flat offered to her for many more months; the Five of Spades' partner helped her find a good job and in general did much good for her. All the Five of Spades' friends told her she was mad to tolerate the existence of such a "triangle" in her life. And finally, about a year later, circumstances reached a climax, and the woman moved out of the flat. The Five of Spades admitted that in fact she had not tried to resolve this situation for so long because she had never in her life experienced the feeling of jealousy. Her partner proved to be the first man towards whom she could feel something of the kind. The Five of Spades wanted to find out for real what jealousy was, and she tolerated this ambiguous position for a whole year. And only having had her fill of jealousy did she decide that she had had enough of this experience, and quickly put an end to the "triangle". This is an example of how Fives often make decisions completely inexplicable to other people, but perfectly logical for themselves. The driving force for them is a thirst for new experience, the wish to live through everything possible. This basic motive of behaviour is what distinguishes them from all other cards in the deck.
